If you are ever in Pittsburgh’s Troy Hill neighborhood, I highly suggest going to Pear and the Pickle. It is on a residential street and you might just miss it if you weren’t looking hard.
You order at the counter in the cute front area with a general store feel. They had a free sample of their biscuits and it was soooo good and buttery.
They are known for their breakfast sandwiches and boyyyyy are they delicious. I got the sausage, egg, and cheese. It is a delish fried egg with a drippy yolk on a brioche bun and I got the three pepper colby jack cheese. I could eat one of these everyday. I got an iced chai tea and it was so perfect-hands down the best one I’ve EVER had.
We sat at this cute table near a bookshelf. You could come here and read an entire book and enjoy a quiet day. They also have board games to play with your family or friends.
I loved the vintage vibe of the place, with the mix matched plates and cute decor. I definitely will be returning here in the future!!
