The next stop on my tour of Pittsburgh restaurant was Ki Ramen. Located in Lawrenceville, this restaurant is in a “hipster” neighborhood FULL, and I mean FULL, of good food. And Ki Ramen did not disappoint.
To start, I got the Ti-Ki punch. It is made with vodka, elderflower, hibiscus, lemon, and rosé wine. It was the perfect combination of sweet and tangy.
Next, we split the meat Bao Bun. The special of the day was pork belly. It was SO good. I probably could have ate 100 of them.
For my meal, I had the Dan Dan ramen. It had so many delicious things in it. The protein source is cured tofu and it is fantastic-even if you are not a vegetarian! I loved the delicious flavor of the broth and the homemade ramen noodles!
I loved the cute atmosphere of the place (side note-I cannot master the use of chopsticks with ramen) and will definitely be returning. I also cannot wait to check out their sister restaurant, Ki Pollo. Definitely give them a try if you are in Lawrenceville!!!
