I decided to celebrate my birthday this year with some of my best friends at a winery. I spent a lot of time thinking about what I wanted to do for my birthday, considering we are still in a pandemic. I remember for my friends birthday in April under full lockdown, I told my other friend, who has a June birthday, that ‘no way this will still be going on by your birthday’. And here we are…still in the middle of a pandemic (in August!!!)with ever changing rules of what you can do, where you can go, etc. In Pennsylvania, both outdoor and indoor dining are open with heavy restrictions. I had been feeling the need to eat some good food and get outside, and decided no better time to go to the winery!
We went to Narcisi Winery in Gibsonia, PA and it was sooo amazing and relaxing. The wine and food were both so delicious. The wine was super affordable (at under $25 A BOTTLE). Highly recommend hitting up a winery near you to destress during this complicated and frustrating time.
